Diabetes causes male infertility in three ways: Causes impotence by affecting the health of small blood vessels and lowering testosterone levels. Lowers sex desire by lowering testosterone levels. Reduces semen volume by affecting the small nerves that control ejaculation and by lowering testosterone.
